CRYPTOMOTORS: A revolution in Automobile Design.
Cryptomotors is a digital automaker powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Each vehicle designed on the platform is completely unique, and thanks to the non-fungible token called ERC-721, you will have 100% ownership of the car you design, or buy. No one will be able to take it away from you or destroy it, well that’s the basis of blockchain technology, isn’t it?
The Platform
It’s divided into 3 parts
Studio
This is where the cars are actually designed, and unlike a typical car design studio, this is an open platform. The community has a voice in the decision and design process.
Garage
The Garage is the place where users can store and interact with their vehicles. Vehicles are displayed here starting with photorealistic render images and later on a 3D model visualized in the browser or with VR. Vehicles can also be customized according to the user’s needs in the garage.
Market
As the name suggests, it’s the place where all buying and selling happens the prices are listed in ether, and 5% of every transaction goes to Cryptomotors.

The Racing Game
Cryptomotors is currently working on a racing game, it works as follows:
Each vehicle is given the following stats:
- Speed
- Acceleration
- Handling
- Grip
- Braking
- Cool down
- Generation
And after considering various factors like driver’s experience, luck factor, and an n number of simulations, a win number is given, and the car with the highest win number wins the race.
Scaling & Future Applications
In anything virtual, the scalability is dependent on the designers and so is the case here. Also, the value of the tokens is backed up by hours of professional design work. This will prevent any scalability issue in the Ethereum blockchain.
Cryptomotors’ roadmap includes bridging the physical and digital world, wishing to convert their 3D cars into a reality. What makes the future even more interesting is that every car designed on cryptomotors has the ability to be physically prototyped and manufactured, and if that happens , 10% of the earnings goes to the community of holders of the lucky car.
