Bobbleheads Integrate Chainlink Price Feeds for Accurate NFT Price Conversions

We’re excited to announce that Bobbleheads—an NFT GameFi project consisting of 10,000 crypto-themed characters—has integrated Chainlink Price Feeds on the Fantom mainnet. Launching on the 5th of February, each Bobblehead costs 20FTM, and we will use Price Feeds to display the USD equivalent value to users.

After considering a multitude of options, we chose to integrate Chainlink Price Feeds because they are the most reliable and time-tested price data solution on the market. A few features that stood out to us include:

• High-Quality Data—Chainlink Price Feeds source data from numerous premium data aggregators, leading to price data that are aggregated from hundreds of exchanges, weighted by volume, and cleaned from outliers and suspicious volumes. Chainlink’s data aggregation model generates more precise global market prices that are resistant to API downtime, flash crash outliers, and data manipulation attacks like flash loans.
• Secure Node Operators—Chainlink Price Feeds are secured by independent, security-reviewed, and Sybil-resistant oracle nodes run by leading blockchain DevOps teams, data providers, and traditional enterprises with a strong track record for reliability, even during high gas prices and extreme network congestion.

In the future, we plan to integrate more of Chainlink’s off-chain data and computation services within our GameFi project. Specifically, the upcoming integration of Chainlink VRF on the Fantom blockchain will give us access to a tamper-proof random number generator that will help enable users to play arcade and casino-themed minigames with verifiable assurances that all results are provably fair.
